Blissberry Walking in Memphis

We requested to be put on the list for a Maybe It Was Memphis kid in December of 2018 when we saw that she was bred to Blissberry Bada Bing Bada Boom. We loved Debut and Pink and really wanted to cement that wide rump in our herd. Maybe It Was Memphis had all the Kastdemur’s does/bucks in her pedigree that we loved– MPR Liaison, Temerity, Time in a Bottle, Mystere–and bred to Bada Bing, Iron-Owl Pika and Bluebeard were added as well. Unfortunately, she did not end up having a doe kid available. We weren’t wrong about the genius of this breeding, however, as Blissberry’s doe kid from this breeding went on to win 2019 ADGA Reserve Junior National Champion. As time went on, Walking in Memphis came to live in Missouri with A Place to Grow and we got to see her at a show. Robin mentioned that she really loved the lineage of this doe and had always been a fan. When A Place to Grow needed to make some room in their barn, they not only remembered a fangirling fellow breeder but very generously made her available to come live with us at Bonne Femme. We hope that we are able to make the most of these genetics that we love and that Blissberry and A Place to Grow have passed to us.
