As we watched Vici’s first daughters freshen, we will thrilled with some of the udders that we saw. One of those is Poetry’s. It is improved in shape and teat size over her dam’s. A second freshening increased production and her third freshening was all we had hoped for. Unfortunately, Poetry developed mastitis and, although being ably cared for at the MU Vet Hospital, succumbed to sepsis.
